In recent years, a source of frustration on the part of Red Sox brass has been the hitting, or lack there of, of promising CF Jackie Bradley, Jr. (Prince George/Salem ’12). His defense had been stellar, but his hitting woes have really stunted him.
In 2015, he finally seems to be putting things altogether.
Bradley played in 71 games this year with Triple-A Pawtucket, hit .305, and appears to be in Fenway to stay now. While the future looks bright now for the 25-yr old native of Prince George, he earned accolades from Baseball America today.
BA named its Triple-A all-star team for 2015, and they tapped Bradley to the squad. In fact, Bradley was one of only three position players from the entire International League named to the squad.
BA names its all-star squad by level, regardless of which league. Therefore, the Triple-A all-star team combines the best of both the International League AND the Pacific Coast League.
