Potomac coming home with 1-1 split, will finish up series at Woodbridge

The Carolina League championship series is underway, and Potomac headed to the Strand in Myrtle Beach to get things started.

Potomac lost Game One by a score of 2-0. Ian Dickson did his job, but allowed a 2-run homer.

Potomac came back the next day to tie the series. John Wooten hit a 3-run homer, Dakota Bacus and his bullpen took it from there, and Potomac won by a score of 3-0 to even things up.

The series now shifts north as the series will finish up in Woodbridge between the Potomac Nationals and Myrtle Beach Pelicans. Game 3 will be Tuesday night, Game 4 will be Wednesday night, and if needed, a 5th and deciding game will be Thursday.
