Chris Taylor, after 10 games in the major leagues

On July 24th, the Mariners called up top prospect SS Chris Taylor (Virginia Beach) and he made his major league debut that night, going 1-3 in a 4-0 loss to the Orioles at home.

Now that he has 10 games in the major leagues, how is he doing so far?

He is batting .367 through his first 10 games in the major leagues. He has hit safely in 8 of his 10 games-in fact, the only games where he has not hit safely have been the two games where he came in as a late pinch-hitter and had one at-bat in each game!

In his 30 at-bats, he has 11 hits, and 4 of them are for extra bases. He has driven in 3 runs so far, and his on-base percentage is .394.

Chris Taylor seems to be doing well and is helping with an offense that is keeping the Mariners in the playoff picture.
